Hand pulled hoist is a light and small lifting machinery used to lift or pull heavy objects. Gourds have small external dimensions, compact structure, light weight, high efficiency, and easy operation, and are widely used in lifting operations in fixed workplaces such as industrial and mining enterprises, construction sites, and warehouses. They can also be used as lifting mechanisms for bridge type cranes.

1、 The four major mechanisms of a chain hoist

1. Lifting mechanism

It generally consists of a driving device, a chain winding system, a retrieval device, and a safety device. The driving device includes a hand zipper strip, hand zipper wheel, brake disc friction plate and ratchet, etc. The loop winding system includes a baffle, guide wheel, pin, etc. The retrieval device has various forms such as hooks, suspension rings, grab buckets, lifting devices, and hanging beams. The safety protection device includes overload limiter, lifting height limiter, descent depth limiter, and overspeed protection switch.

2. Operating mechanism

It is divided into two categories: rail operation and trackless operation.

The rail type operating mechanism is mainly composed of two parts: the operating support device and the operating drive device. The running support device is used to bear the self weight and external load of the chain hoist, and transmit all of these to the track foundation building. It mainly includes balancing devices, wheels, tracks, etc. The running drive device is used to drive the hoist to run on the track, mainly composed of reducers, brakes, etc. Trackless operating mechanism is an important component of various mobile hoists.

3. Rotary mechanism

It consists of two main parts: a slewing bearing device and a slewing drive device. The former supports the rotating part of the gourd on a fixed part, while the latter drives the rotating part to rotate relative to the fixed part and bear the vertical force, horizontal force, and overturning moment acting on it by the rotating part of the gourd.

4. Variable amplitude mechanism

According to the nature of the work, it can be divided into non work variable amplitude and work variable amplitude; According to the movement form of the mechanism, it can be divided into operating trolley type amplitude and boom swing type amplitude. According to the boom amplitude performance, it can be divided into ordinary boom amplitude and balanced boom amplitude.

Hand pulled hoists have the characteristics of safety, reliability, easy maintenance, high mechanical efficiency, low chain tension, light weight, easy portability, beautiful appearance, small size, and durability.
