What are the significant differences between micro electric hoists and industrial electric hoists
published:2024-11-11

Micro electric hoist belongs to a type of electric hoist, which has significant differences from traditional industrial electric hoists, reflected in multiple aspects. Below, Guanhang will take you to briefly understand it.

First of all, we need to know that micro electric hoists are known for their simple structure, easy installation, and portability. They are usually installed on small brackets such as small cranes for lifting and hoisting work, while traditional industrial electric hoists are different. Industrial electric hoists are mainly installed on I-beams, which shows that there are still significant differences in their work areas.

Then there is the difference in load capacity. The reason why it is called a micro electric hoist is that its load capacity is definitely lower than that of an industrial electric hoist. The load capacity of a micro electric hoist generally does not exceed 1 ton, while the load capacity of an industrial electric hoist is generally above the ton level. This is the difference in rated load between the two.

Finally, there is a difference in the use of power sources. Miniature electric hoists, also known as civilian electric hoists, mostly use 220V power supply voltage, while industrial electric hoists are mostly used for industrial electricity, with power supply voltage generally above 380V. This is the difference in power application between the two.

These features of micro electric hoists are more suitable for some relatively simple lifting work, such as material lifting during house decoration and lifting of grain and flour in some warehouses. This is also the fundamental reason why it is called a civilian electric hoist.
