Guanhang chain hoist participated in the high-pressure external cylinder opening work of the unit
published:2026-01-06

A certain company needed to perform the dismantling work of the low-pressure and high-pressure outer cylinders of Unit 2's steam turbine, which involved the lifting of precision components. Therefore, they purchased several chain blocks from our factory.

In order to successfully complete the cylinder uncovering work, the company specially held an A-level maintenance coordination meeting to plan and deploy in advance, conduct comprehensive technical disclosure, optimize the cylinder uncovering plan, isolate the system, measure the gap, and ensure that all preparatory work is in place. The personnel responsible for maintaining the unit also stated that they would strictly follow the procedures and strengthen management and control in terms of safety, quality, planning, maintenance, equipment, and operational operations to ensure the safe, high-quality, and efficient completion of this work.

After starting the comprehensive entry into the cylinder uncovering state, maintenance workers used a crown block to firmly suspend the steel wire ropes at the four corners of the high-pressure outer cylinder. Four hydraulic jacks were placed underneath, while measurement personnel constantly measured the height. With the whistle of the lifting workers, the cylinder uncovering work for Unit 2's high-pressure outer cylinder officially began. After some strenuous pulling of the chain of the crown block, the high-pressure inner and outer cylinders of Unit 2 were completely uncovered.

With the stable landing of the high-pressure outer cylinder of Unit 2 at the designated position, the uncovering work of the high-pressure outer cylinder of Unit 2 has been successfully completed. This marks the entry of the turbine body of Unit 2 into the comprehensive disassembly, inspection, and maintenance stage, laying a solid foundation for the smooth progress of the next maintenance work.
