Small details explanation of the operation of the hand-operated hoist
published:2024-08-26

The lifting operation details of hand cranked hoists are worth paying attention to. Many people do not know how to operate hand cranked hoists correctly. Although hand cranked hoists are similar to chain hoists, there are still some differences in the details of operation

Before lifting with a hand cranked hoist, it is not necessary to constantly press the handle to make the lifting chain reach a taut state. Instead, it is necessary to move the block to neutral. At this time, the lifting chain is not limited by tension, and we can freely pull the lifting chain. At this time, what needs to be done is to pull the chain at the connection between the hand cranked hoist and the lifting target to a semi tensioned state as much as possible, and make certain adjustments to ensure that the chain is perpendicular to the lifting target.

After the chain is pulled to a semi tense state, move the block to the upward position and then start pulling the handle. In the initial stage of pulling the handle, try to hold it with one hand and the neck of the hand hoist (the part where the upper hook is connected to the whole) with the other hand, in order to maintain stability throughout the entire operation process. Because the hand-operated hoist is not fully stressed at this time, the pulling process may cause the hoist to shake.

After the lifting target is lifted off the ground, the hand-operated hoist is now fully stressed. At this point, we can retract the hand holding the neck and use both hands to press the handle, which can make the lifting operation more efficient and labor-saving. These are some operational details of the hand-operated hoist, hoping to help everyone.
